had known Roy since the late 1950s while working at Westwick and the setting up of captains pond angling club, they were some good times. He was quite a character, especially for his maggot farm,he used to to have a,(i think it was a Austin a40 van) that he used to run about in,also to collect carcases (dead) in to feed his maggots on, bygolly didn't pong, we had to work on it sometimes at Westwick Garage, in went some disinfectant to try and reduce the pong. Roy was a good laugh and a real character. shame about lockdown as i am sure there would be many who would like to say farewell old partner TONY BIRD
